Loki

Dominant Breed: Lab/Boxer Mix

Size: Large

Age: Adult

Gender: Male

Note: Loki was found as a stray and adopted by the family who found him, but they were transferred on short notice and were unable to bring Loki along. He is confused as to why he is no longer in what must have been his second home, but will fit easily into a new family. Loki is about 1 1/2 years old, is housetrained, knows some commands, and is very healthy and VERY STRONG! He is believed to have some border collie in his lineage, as he is inclined to herd cows; but he does not like swimming. He gets along well with other dogs and with kids.

Quil

Dominant Breed: Beagle

Size: Small

Age: Young

Gender: Male

Quill is an active, lively young beagle, who is full of energy and quite athletic. He is looking for a home with personalities similar to his own.

Clifford

.Dominant Breed: Lab Mix

Size: Large

Age: Adult

Gender: Male

Note: Clifford is a Lab mix, estimated to be 3-4 years old. He is very well-behaved, walks well on leash, goes readily into a crate, and jumps into a car; so he has obviously been trained. He has a very patient, yet playful, temperament. He does have hip dysplasia, which is advanced in one hip; he is on medication and an exercise regimen to get the condition under control. With proper care he will be a great family pet.

Cindy

Dominant Breed: Heinz 57 Mix

Size: Medium

Age: Adult

Gender: Female

Note: Cindy, who is perhaps 3 years old, energetic and playful. She's a mix, but of what breeds we're uncertain. She is a pretty dog, but tends to be jealous of other dogs; so she'd prefer to be an only dog.

Misty

Dominant Breed: Border Collie

Size: Medium

Age: Senior

Gender: Female

Note: Misty was picked up by Animal Control. She appears to have been a working dog, and to have lived outside. The vision in one eye is impaired by a cataract, and she had a positive Lyme test, for which she is being treated, and which may account for her seeming somewhat dazed by her situation. She is a quiet, gentle dog, who is gradually warming up to the attention of humans and the companionship of other dogs.

Precious

Dominant Breed: German Sheperd Mix

Size: Medium

Age: Young

Gender: Female

Precious is about 2 1/2 years old. She was adopted from a shelter originally, but her adopter had a change of circumstances and had to give her up. She is accustomed to a loving home, housetrained, and affectionate. Everyone who meets her is charmed by her happy smile!
